Dr. Satava has been published more than 200 times in diverse areas of advanced surgical technology, including surgery in the space environment, video and 3-D imaging, telepresence surgery and virtual reality surgical simulation. Dr. Satava completed undergraduate training at Johns Hopkins University and medical school at Hahnemann University. He interned at the Cleveland Clinic, and performed his surgical residency and earned a fellowship with a Master of Surgical Research at the Mayo Clinic.
